LOWER CONTROL ARM PIVOT REMOVER

This tool is designed to help you remove the lower control arm pivot without using a press.  Attach the tool to the lower control arm pivot and tighten it to remove the pivot.  Once you have removed the pivot, the outside steel sleeve will be left in the lower control arm.  When the pivot has been removed, pull out the bushing and clean out the inside of the steel sleeve.  If replacing with a RUBBER bushing, remove the sleeve and replace it with a new bushing which has it's inner and outer sleeve.  If you are using a POLY bushing, leave the sleeve in place in the lower control arm and insert the new poly bushing inside it.
